Despite constant challenges posed by Covid19, we worked closely with Cornwall Council and our fantastic housekeepers to ensure that our 2020 and 2021 guests were all able to safely enjoy their much needed holidays at Creekside. We are very much looking forward to welcoming (most of!) our returning and new guests with less restrictions in 2022!
A returning guest since 2014...
“Nigel I thought I had better tell you sooner rather than later that we have taken your lead and purchased a property in Mylor....thank you so much for allowing us to use your lovely house and for, unwittingly, guiding in this direction.”
Sarah and Family

“I meant to contact you sooner to thank you for sharing your Creekside home, what a gem of a place. We had a super week. I trust everything was in order when we left? We’re looking forward to returning next year. !”
Simon and Family
“Thanks for a lovely holiday, the house is perfect - what a stunning location! Thoroughly enjoyed watching the tide come and go from the front garden. Fabulous!!”

“A great base for exploring some beautiful parts of Cornwall!”

“We rented Creekside Cottage for a week as a base for our participation in the Mirror Dinghy National Championships at nearby Restronguet Sailing Club.
What a beautiful location! We had 5 days relaxing in idyllic weather before the competition started and the garden overlooking the creek was perfect. We loved the table with 2 seats attached and the picnic tables. The cottage was really well equipped and managed by owners Nigel & Jacquie. The neighbours David & Ali were also welcoming, a nice couple.
The lovely sailing pictures that adorn the cottage walls were all painted by Jacquie and help create a nice vibe.
Right next to the garden is a small public slipway which was very useful for launching our Mirror Dinghy into the creek for a lovely sail with my granddaughter. A magic moment!
Another nice moment was a trip to Falmouth harbour for some crab fishing.
The grandchildren caught two Gobie fish as well as four crabs whilst we enjoyed Coffee and rolls.
I can't imagine anyone being disappointed by Creekside Cottage!
Thank you for letting us experience it..”

“Our second stay at Creekside and for good reason. This is such an excellent cottage, beautifully maintained by Nigel and Jacquie and a perfect location, comfortable and tranquil. Very few holiday cottages better than this.”
The Crowley Family
“Thank you so much for the amazing break we had and I am grateful for how accommodating you both were to make the holiday happen. Hope both you and Jacquie have a lovely Christmas.”

“We had a perfect week in October with just one bad day. The cottage was far beyond our expectations! Everything and more is provided. We felt like this was our own home and so enjoyed returning to it after sunny days and terrific local walks. Plenty of excellent restaurants in the area and all good value. Even with Covid 19 restrictions we managed to have a perfect 7 days in a beautiful home on the River Fal. Thank you both so much.”

"Fantastic stay....again. Thank you. Great cottage, location and facilities. Couldn't be better.”
Philip, Angela and Family
“A great house right by the water; accommodation is of a very high standard with all appliances modern and in good working order. There are two great pubs/eateries within walking distance Castaways & The Pandora Inn along with a village store, butcher and fishmonger. This is a great location for walking and chilling out in a very quiet setting. Equally it’s a good hub to visit the likes of Lands End, Lizard Point, Falmouth, The Eden Project, St Ives & Pendennis Castle. “

“Creekside Cottage is a gem of a property in a beautiful, tranquil setting. The ebb and flow of the river is a constant delight for birdwatchers, artists or anyone who likes (watching others) messing about in boats. We found the kitchen extremely well equipped, the sitting and dining rooms ideal, the beds very comfortable and the big terraced garden a lovely place to chase a ball while older members of the party enjoyed a pot of tea after one of the many glorious walks around Mylor. In this year when holidays sometimes seemed too much to hope for, we feel very lucky to have happened upon this magical place and hope to return one day. Thank you Nigel for your helpful suggestions to strangers to the area and for your prompt response to our queries.”
The Scott Family
“The Cottage is in a lovely setting with a clear view of the creek and on a tranquil road. It is a very 'comfortable' house to stay in and with dog. Everything is shipshape and orderly. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms pristine. We enjoyed our time there and would certainly plan on booking Creekside Cottage again.”
Bryony and Family
“…your house is absolute bliss and we will be booking again for next summer!”
The Walton Family
“…having a great time. We are just thinking ahead to next year.... ..do you have any weeks available in August we can book?”
The Anderson Family
“Excellent location, and very quiet. Lots of space, very well maintained and equipped. Both gardens were great to sit in morning and evening. Would definitely recommend. “
The Cornwall family including Heidi the long haired dachshund
“An idyllic Cornwall cottage in a delightful location with fabulous views of Mylor Creek. The cottage is very well equipped and wants for nothing. We had a most wonderful week and Creekside Cottage is perfect for both man and dog alike. "
