"We have had an amazing holiday this week, we hired a boat for 2 days and lovely meals out. A lovely holiday to go on with your family. Buster and Titan loved their swim in the sea by the Hidden Hut"

"The waterfront lawn is a major highlight with several beautiful breakfasts and evening meals shared there. Having our dinghy anchored 10m away was another delight - enabling sneaky sails before anybody was up and about."

"Walks to the Harbour and eating at Castaways, sitting by the creek as the sunset. Paddle boarding with the children. Lovely break, great walks and peaceful location to re-charge. The Creek is great for paddleboarding and skimming stones!"

"This is our second visit.  It is a wonderful house in a wonderful location. We love Mylor and this cottage is very comfortable with all equipment you could possibly need.  We enjoyed paddle boarding from the front garden, sitting in the sun in the back garden and walking round the coastal path stopping off at the cafe.  Perfect!  The back garden is completely enclosed for dogs.  Oh and the children loved the large fridge / freezer with the water and ice dispenser!"

“This is the second time that my family and I have stayed at Creekside Cottage. We were able to enjoy a brilliant holiday in this well appointed, clean and comfortable cottage. With plenty of lovely walks nearby it was ideal for rambles with our 3 dogs. We enjoyed going out for excellent meals at Castaways, The Pandora Inn, The Heron Inn and The Fox and Hounds in Comford, all of which are dog friendly. Creekside is well situated with lovely views across the creek, it is a fabulous place and has everything that you need to get away to and enjoy a relaxing holiday. We hope to return. “The 4th visit to your lovely cottage; a welcome respite after the last 2 years. Once again we were blessed with good weather and a very relaxing time in a perfectly peaceful spot. Castaways & Café Mylar still very inviting; a walk to the Pandora Inn for lunch as always delightful, but our favourite this visit ( thank-you Nigel for the suggestion) was an evening meal at Hooked on the Rocks, Swanpool beach. The most amazing seafood & the best scallops we have ever had! Once again we were sad to leave; even our spaniel Jacob had to be tugged out of the door on our last day. He loved the garden & remembered all the walks. Thank-you Nigel & Jacqui”

“We rented Creekside Cottage for a week as a base for our participation in the Mirror Dinghy National Championships at nearby Restronguet Sailing Club.
What a beautiful location!  We had 5 days relaxing in idyllic weather before the competition started and the garden overlooking the creek was perfect.  We loved the table with 2 seats attached and the picnic tables.  The cottage was really well equipped and managed by owners Nigel & Jacquie.  The neighbours David & Ali were also welcoming, a nice couple.
The lovely sailing pictures that adorn the cottage walls were all painted by Jacquie and help create a nice vibe.
Right next to the garden is a small public slipway which was very useful for launching our Mirror Dinghy into the creek for a lovely sail with my granddaughter.  A magic moment!
Another nice moment was a trip to Falmouth harbour for some crab fishing.
The grandchildren caught two Gobie fish as well as four crabs whilst we enjoyed Coffee and rolls.
I can't imagine anyone being disappointed by Creekside Cottage!

​“A great house right by the water; accommodation is of a very high standard with all appliances modern and in good working order.  There are two great pubs/eateries within walking distance  Castaways & The Pandora Inn along with a village store, butcher and fishmonger.  This is a great location for walking and chilling out in a very quiet setting.  Equally it’s a good hub to visit the likes of Lands End, Lizard Point, Falmouth, The Eden Project, St Ives & Pendennis Castle. “

The ebb and flow of the river is a constant delight for birdwatchers, artists or anyone who likes (watching others) messing about in boats. We found the kitchen extremely well equipped, the sitting and dining rooms ideal, the beds very comfortable and the big terraced garden a lovely place to chase a ball while older members of the party enjoyed a pot of tea after one of the many glorious walks around Mylor. In this year when holidays sometimes seemed too much to hope for, we feel very lucky to have happened upon this magical place and hope to return one day. Thank you Nigel for your helpful suggestions to strangers to the area and for your prompt response to our queries.”

“The Cottage is in a lovely setting with a clear view of the creek and on a tranquil road.  It is a very 'comfortable' house to stay in and with dog.  Everything is shipshape and orderly.  The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms pristine. We enjoyed our time there and would certainly plan on booking Creekside Cottage again.”
